Deborah Lippmann reps describe it as, “Treat yourself to some nail candy with this collection of sweet pastel shades. Long-wearing and quick-drying, it’s all the indulgence you could ever ask for — and totally cavity-free.” I agree! Let’s see these confectionary-inspired pastels.

Let’s start with the pastel orange creme, Sugar, Sugar.

Sugar, Sugar is a pastel peachy orange creme. Although it was fully opaque in two coats like the others, the formula was thicker for some reason. It dried just as fast, but was trickier to apply. Still, a pastel orange like this is hard to resist.

Next up, one of the prettiest pastel yellow cremes I have every tried. Lemon Drop!

I'm not usually a big fan of yellows on my skin, but this formula, pastel yellow is perfect. A great formula really helped me fall in love with this one.

Every lacquer collection needs a delicate pastel green, Sweet Pea. And with a great formula and this sort of opacity, I say, “gimme”!

Sweet Pea, a super opaque pastel green is so springy. Perfect 2-coat formula.

Oh, those baby blues! My Boy Lollipop is a sweet little pastel blue number. Also half of the Pantone 2016 duo.

My Boy Lollipop is the other shade of the Pantone 2016. A full coverage pastel baby blue.

Like flowers in the Spring, here is a scrumptious little lavender creme, All Day Sucker.

All Day Sucker is medium thick formula and very opaque. 2 coats here. These dry fast and glossy, not glass, but plenty of shine.

The other half of the oh-so-delicate pair for Pantone 2016, here is the mouth-watering pale pink, Candy Girl.

Candy Girl (pastel pink) and Pantone for 2016, this highly opaque creme is perfect in 2 coats.

Well, that’s it for now sweeties! Are you hungry yet?! I am quite pleased with this Limited Edition set. I don’t know how long they will be available, so you might want to order these asap.

Conclusion: I love all these pastels and they are as opaque as you can get. Five of the formulas were perfect medium in thickness and super easy to apply. However I did have more issues applying the orange pastel, Sugar, Sugar. It was thicker but still doable. All six were quick drying but gave plenty of time to work with them. These shades remind me of those Jordan Almonds! Love!!!

    1. You know, different people have varying experiences with all nail polishes. For some they may have trouble with lots of cremes because of their nails having either ridges, or being too smooth, porous nails or whatever. Application technique also plays into their opinions of polishes. I’ve had very good luck with all my DL polishes. This set wasn’t streaky at all! Such gorgeous candy colors. Every one a winner. So glad you like them!
