ILNP’s Kaleidoscope from Summer 2015 Collection!

Today I wanted to share with you, my lovely readers, the beauty of Kaleidoscope from indie polish phenom, ILNP. Recently I reviewed the beautiful Harbour Island, and it seemed to be a perfect undercoat for the Ultra Chrome Flakie, Kaleidoscope! As with all the UCFs, this can be a topper but also stand on it’s own in 3-4 coats. And that my friends is a party on your nails! Check out my sunshine shot.

I used one thin coat of Kaleidoscope from the ILNP Summer 2015 collection over Harbour Island! Talk about jewels in the sun, wow! Kaleidoscope is described as, "an awesome combination of color-shifting Ultra Chrome Flakies that's just too fun! With every turn of your nails you'll see a kaleidoscope of color including purple, magenta, green, gold, and turquoise. Use Kaleidoscope as a topper over your favorite nail polish or brush on a few layers for full coverage." ILNP Ultra Chrome Flakies are fully opaque and can be worn alone or over any color without affecting the intense color shifting properties. Full coverage in 3 - 4 coats.

If you’ve been on the fence about trying flakies, this is a great line to start, and there are a ton to choose from. I’ve tried them all and each showstopper has its own unique effect. Use alone, as a topper, combined for a cool gradient look. You’re only limited by your imagination!

Here are a few fabulous facts for your shopping pleasure.

What is your vegan/cruelty free policy?
ILNP absolutely does not test our products on animals nor do we purchase materials from suppliers that do. We make a conscious effort to avoid purchasing animal/insect derived materials like carmine and guanine/pearl, etc. as there are plenty of synthetic alternatives that perform the same or even better.

Are your nail polishes 3-Free?
Yes! All ILNP nail polishes are 3 free! They DO NOT contain Toluene, Formaldehyde, or Dibutyl Phthalate.

What does 3-Free mean?
3-Free means that our nail polishes do not contain Toluene, Formaldehyde, or Dibutyl Phthalate. These 3 ingredients were previously used in most nail polish formulations until recent studies found them to be potentially harmful or irritable to humans. While these chemicals aren’t illegal to use in nail polish (although California law requires special labeling if used), most large brands have already moved to 3-Free formulas at the urge of educated consumers as well as organizations that campaign for safe cosmetics.”

ILNP NEW Ultra Chrome Flakies are Holographic!

Today I have the first of 3 installments featuring the new collection of Ultra Chrome Flakies polishes. The original baker’s dozen contained 13 UCFs in the last release and now they are holofied! So original names but blasted with holographic sparkle! Plus 4 new shades 2/reg + 2/holo. I’ll share 3-4 polishes in each of these posts so I don’t overload you with too many graphics! And just like the new spring collection I just shared (a total of 10) these too will be available for pre-order on March 6th. Here we go!

Ultra Chrome Flakies (H) You know ILNP (I Love Nail Polish) LOVES polish when they can create such massive collections! Each one a winner.

I’ll go ahead and start with the first two of four brand new UCFs (Ultra Chrome Flakies), Ice House and Ice House (H)!

Brand new shade called Ice House. And it's a frosty blue flakie with color shifts from mediterranean blue to aqua/teal to purple, with a bit of bronze and purple. Here I painted one light coat of CND Vinylux Reflecting pool from the 2015 Garden Muse collection. On the accent finger straight up 2 coats of Ice House on the bare nail!

You know IH has to have a holographic sister, Ice House (H)! Here she is.

Ice House (H) is the holographic version of it's sister, Ice House. It's even more sparkly with all that holo thrown in. I painted one thin layer over black. I with the sun had been out the day I shot this. It's blindingly gorgeous in the sun.
