First, a denim blue frosty Magnetic Cat Eye gel polish, BP 05. I thought it was going to be more of a midnight blue, but this works for me! Applied over black gel polish to really make it stand out. It is item #41515
BP 05 Magnetic Cat Eye Gel is a gorgeous deep denim blue, here I used a round magnet for this special effect. Cure after applying magnet and voila!
Set pf 12 Nail Art Foil in Gold, Silver, oil slick red/orange/gold/teal and oil slick gold/red/orange/fuscia Set! Easy to apply over nail polish then top coat, or over any stick layer then top coat with gel as I did here over BP Cat Eye Gel BP 05. Item # 3966
And last but not least, an amazing cuticle oil pen, item #39329 in the scent of Coconut and man it smells amazing. Not fake or plasticky, but like real coconut. It isn’t overly oily, but feels just right. It also comes in Pineapple, Peach, Lavender and Almond.
An amazing Nail Cuticle Oil 2ml Fruit or Flower scented, in a handy metallic pen. I used Coconut here and it smells amazing, not too shiny either so great for photographing nail swatches. I am loving this stuff!

Greetings all! We find ourselves between Thanksgiving and Christmas and as we finish off the leftover turkey, it’s already time to hang the greens and shop for gifts! I totally overdid it, as usual, and maxed out my pain threshold while decorating for Christmas. I spent the good part of the week in deep seering pain and although I’m on the mend, the discomfort in my shoulder has somewhat subsided and is traveling down into my knuckles. Glittery plum is another gorgeous shimmery gel polish by Madam glam. A delicate sparkly plum shade, also perfect for your holiday mani.

Higher Spirit is a latte shimmer shade that has sort of a white gold effect when the magnet is applied before curing. This Madam Glam Cat Eye gel polish is stunning and elegant! 2 coats alone over base gel.
I love Cat Eye polishes, like really really love them! So versatile and this shade is what I would call an office appropriate polish.
How fun is this?! Sprinkle Jam is a one of a long line of fun and super easy to use One Step gel polishes by Madam Glam. It’s an emerald multi faceted glitter, tiny to medium glitters with a few micro bars thrown in for extra sparkle. This clear gel base topper is gorgeous alone in two coats, as seen on my pinky. Or topped over your choice of base shades. I used Madam Glam One Step in a spicy red called Smart Red!
You won’t find a quicker way of applying a cured gel polish than the One Step. No base or top coat necessary and you can layer and mix and match them with ease. Sprinkle Jam is super fun over red.

For a truly gilded nail, Crowning Moment is supreme. I am not normally drawn to pearly polishes, but I do love me some fancy rose gold, offered up by Chalice in the Palace. Conclusion. I love citrus, and especially love citrusy polishes like this. I would recommend using a good base coat in case of pigment bleed. The yellow is especially pigmented. Diving right into the April polish subscription box from SquareHue, the moment I opened it I was out of breath! The April Adventure Collection brings us Skydive Interlaken. Three finishes, three knockout shades. Let’s suit up and take a look!
Eye popping shades for April! From Left, Monch…an eye-searing matte yellow. Eiger…a pink duochrome gloss (I’d consider it more of a pink with flashes of blue). And a glitter within a purple crelly, Jungfrau.
Monch is so brilliant, not even the sun can compete with this shade. Wear it matte or shine it up even more with a topcoat. I don’t know why but yellow this shade screams for black! So I had fun with some dots and dry marble.
Monch in 2 coats. I read that some folks had some streaking and stringy formula issues. I had NO issues at all. Dried fast and very matte and I didn’t even need a 3rd coat.
Eiger is a super glossy pink with flashes of blue shimmer. I don’t seem to get a duochrome effect, but it’s sure gorgeous!
It took 3 thin coats and was easy to apply. I love pinks like this with that hint of shimmer.
Last but no way least, a super surprise this month is a pale purple crelly/glitter, Jungfrau. Hey, did you know that Jungfrau is a group of mountain peaks in Switzerland? Me neither. I really must get out more! lol
Jungfrau in 3 easy coats gives you great depth and dimension.
Conclusion. I read a couple mini reviews and a couple of reviewers had a couple of problems with Jungfrau and Monch. I had 0 problems, 0 defects! the Eiger took a bit longer to dry but the glossiness is worth it. Jungfrau is exactly how I like my crelly/glitters. And Monch, well. She’s a standout as far as yellow polishes are concerned. I’m super pleased!

Lavender Lace is a shimmery, glossy pale lavender. More sheer than the rest in this set, but I still managed to make it work with 2 coats. You may require 2-3.
Skin Tease is a rosy nude but not too pink.
Skin Tease is a delicate skin tone, slightly rosy nude with a hint of shimmer. Two coats here.
Pink Pursuit is a dusty rose and super shiny!
Pink Pursuit is a pink creme with a hint of salmon, very glossy and saturated. Two coats here.
Honey Darlin’ is shiny like the sun.
Honey Darlin’ is a super glossy, pigmented butter yellow creme. Perfect for those afraid of yellows. Two coats. CONCLUSION: I love this collection. All the formulas were consistently smooth and glossy. My fave shades were Desert Poppy, Be Demure and Honey Darlin’. I highly recommend each one!
