I admit it, I’ve always been a fan of Oceans of Beauty founder, Christy. I found her first a few years back on Youtube. Her golden locks and sweet genuine disposition are what sold me. From that time, she has expanded her business to the nail world and beyond. Ez Dip nail powders, glitter, chrome and holo pigments and now Gel Polish. Sparkle & Co is the way to go! Let’s take a peek today at three of the 35 Gel polish colors, as well as the new pigment kid on the block.
Brand NEW at Oceans of Beauty! 35 colors including black and white. Sparkle & Co Gel polishes come in full size satin black bottles with caps showing the color of what’s inside. Here are three and wow, they are amazing. Great formulas, I’m so impressed. From left, #48 Pastel Turquoise, #76 Med/Dark Red and #39 Azure Blue.
I know, it’s now Fall but just look, LOOK! My all time favorite Summer shade, this is #48, a Pastel Turquoise Gel polish. Two coats cured with base and No Wipe top coat.
Sparkle & Co #76 Med/Dark Red in 2 coats, cured with base and no wipe top coats, also available at Oceans of Beauty. This is one sexy red!
#39 Azure Blue from the Sparkle & Co line of gel polishes at Oceans of Beauty. It’s more sheer than the others so I used 3 coats. Cured after each coat, and as always, you want to apply all these in thin even coats before curing. It reminds me of the place where the Atlantic Ocean meets the Caribbean!
The formulas on these are brilliant and glossy and super easy to apply. Which I knew they would be after using the introductory shades of black and white. And here is the new metallic powder, Sparkle & Co Metallix in Rose Gold. (but on me it’s more like bronze but just as beautiful).
Something new over at Oceans of Beauty! They’ve added Sparkle & Co Metallix pigment powder in Rose Gold. This is a 3 gram jar, which is tons if you’ve ever used pigments because a little tiny amount goes a long way! This is NOT a mirror powder. It’s applied the same way as the holo and chrome. It’s described as a metallic gold, but on me at least it leans more toward a bronze. It is stunning! $15, but read in my post how to save!
Sparkle & Co Metallix in Rose Gold over black gel polish. Next I think I’ll try it over white for a paler look. Over black it’s more like a bronze but wow, does this scream Fall or what?!
CONCLUSION: Great choices, beautiful colors and formulas, easy to use, innovative! How’s that for a conclusion? Remember, the gel polishes are now available at an introductory price of $9.99. Get ’em while they’re hot.
