Zoya says, “Wishes really do come true with this magical new nail polish collection for Winter/Holiday 2014! Zoya Wishes** is a densely pigmented assortment featuring both traditional and Magical PixieDust* formulas in coordinating color combinations that can be worn alone or combined into stunning combinations, no matter how you wear them, this collection delivers a fanciful way to celebrate the season!” And I believe it! Seriously, this assortment reminds me of wrapping papers with it’s silvery blue, sparkly PixieDusts*, visions of sugar plums and winter’s night black.
The Wishes Collection for Winter/Holiday 2014! From left, Thea, Haven, Imogen, Willa, Nori and Prim.
I love how Zoya designed these six polishes to compliment each other so well, and I can’t wait to get my juices flowing. But for starters, I’ll keep it simple so you can see the collection now.
First we have silky Haven. So plumy and rich. I used two coats here, no top coat.
Haven with Thea as an accent. Made for each other!
Thea, like Haven’s gorgeous sister! Two coats.
In love with Magical PixieDust* Thea. I paired her with Haven for this mani.
On the left is Haven, described by Zoya as True holiday plum liquid metal with a thin vein of orchid for added brilliance. On the right, Zoya describes THEA as a deep amethyst Magical PixieDust* with an orchid flash, packed full of party-ready holographic hex glitter.
Here we have delicate Prim. Even her name is mild-mannered! Two coats, no top coat.
Prim is gorgeous and stand on her own. A tad tricky to avoid some brush marks, but that’s the way it is with some shimmery pearls.
Nori, reminds me so much of sparkly gift wrap I love for Christmas. Two coats, no top coat.
I LOVE this Magical PixieDust* Nori. I really didn’t care for it paired with Prim so I didn’t use her for an accent.
On the left is Prim, described by Zoya as Velvet blue metallic, with a full coverage, high-density pigment and buttery smooth application. On the Right is Nori, described by Zoya as Sapphire blue Magical PixieDust* with holographic hex glitter, perfect for any holiday festivity.
Willa is dark and glossy, perfect! Two coats, no top coat here.
Willa. A PERFECT glossy, patent leather looking black. Application of both coats were perfect and it looks amazing with Magical PixieDust* Imogen!
Imogen is such a sexy blingy black. Be still my heart! Two coats, no top coat.
Imogen is indeed a Magical PixieDust*! On the accent nail is glossy Willa.
On the left is Willa, described by Zoya as Full-coverage, onyx black cream. On the right is Black crystal Magical PixieDust* with holographic hex glitter, just add an LBD and you’re off!
So have you ordered your Wishes yet? I was surprised not to see some sort of red and/or green in this year’s collection, but maybe something is coming. I don’t know but you can be sure if it drops down the chimney, it will land on my fingers! On a scale of 1-10, I’d rate this collection 9 out of 10. I love the Magical PixieDusts* best out of the collection, and of the standards included Haven has my vote. By the way, drying time on all of these were speedy. I like that around the holidays don’t you?!
