Without further ado, here are the next four polishes from the ILNP Fall 2016 collection.
Gah, I can’t get enough of this 2 coater, Industrial Park. It is described as, “a beautifully unique muted blue shade from our upcoming Neutrals collection!”Ahh, mon cherie! Here is Mon Amour from ILNP Fall 2016 collection. Isn’t she dark and juicy? She is described as, “a luxuriously deep holographic beauty that will easily find a place in your heart! This intensely dark purple shade is borderline black in certain lighting conditions with a wonderfully saturated finish to it. Look closely and you’ll find the combination of beautiful wine red shimmers in Mon Amour create the perfect foundation for this stunner! Last but not least, Mon Amour has been carefully accented with a variety of holographic micro-flakes and pigments to wrap it all up with the perfect finishing touch!” Nearly a 1 coater for me but 2 coats gives this beauty so much depth.Central Station from ILNP Fall Collection is a neutral holo filled 2-coater. A taupey gray leaning fall shade.Beautiful and delicate, Chloe from the ILNP Fall collection is described as, “a soft blush pink from our upcoming Fall Neutrals collection! This subdued pink beauty features a gorgeously delicate holographic sparkle.” Here she is in 3 coats.
CONCLUSION: Without sounding like a broken record, I already knew I’d love every one of these. Continuously perfect formulas and shades for every mood. I have 5 more to go and I can’t wait to show them to you. Which one’s have you got your eyes on?

Oh my goodness, Highline is a gorgeous mulichrome shade shifting stunner. No matter what direction the light comes in it never looks the same. From a strong golden brass, to pine green, burgundy to bronze, this one is breathtaking. 2 coats.From the 2016 Fall collection by ILNP, Sitting Fireside is another shade shifter, although less obvious, the holo sparkled berry sneaks in a fiery red from time to time. 2 coats.Clever Girl from the Fall 2016 ILNP collection is a delicate teal base highlighted with pinkish holographic sparkles. 2 to 3 coats, but I liked it more sheer using 2.Alexander from the new Fall 2016 collection is described as, “a uniquely intricate holographic shade that sits on the line between olive-green, light brown, and even grey in certain types of lighting. Formulated for maximum depth, Alexander is packed with just the right amount of varying holographic pigments for a tremendously busy sparkle in direct light.” Here he is in two coats.
Conclusion: So far and no surprise, each of these apply like butter, shine like heck and are the epitome of Autumn. I can’t wait to show you more so stay tuned!

Well, I have only five polishes left to show you in my ILNP Summer 2015 series. And remember, they are all available NOW at ILNP.com! Today I’ll show you Harbour Island. It’s stunning! I am down to the wire with my ILNP Summer 2015 swatches. Kind of sad really as I’ve so enjoyed every one of these beautiful polishes. This is gorgeous Harbour Island! 3 coats, glossy as heck and such a perfect Caribbean aqua blue!
Some years back my husband and I took a vacation on the island of Eleuthera. The most amazing shades of blue and aqua shores with gentle lapping water on one side of the tiny island and the deep blue of the Atlantic on the other. Factoid about Harbour Island: Harbour Island is an island and administrative district in the Bahamas and is located off the northeast coast of Eleuthera Island. This gorgeous place is known for it’s sugary soft pink sand and low key island life, on the arid side and very little tourist population. You could literally go days without seeing a soul on your usually private beach if you rented a beach home like we did. Talk about relaxation! I’d say the shade and glisteny formula of this amazing holo polish would be perfect to wear to Harbour Island!

Mega (S) in the sunshine! If you wear this and drive, you might want to wear gloves to avoid staring at your nails! Mega (H) in regular indirect daylight! Barbra of ILNP says, “MEGA is the mother of all holographic nail polishes, period. It is not a top-coat. Fame is a smooth white gold metallic with yellow gold flakes (and I’m trying to describe this on my own, stay tuned for more detailed descriptions once I have them). It is smooth and shiny, not textured! Fame in the sun!
Next is a precious pink metallic Flower Girl, with the added bonus of little gold flakies. Anyone who knows me, knows I love pink and gold together.
Flower Girl is sure to be on fingers and toes at weddings this spring and summer! Flower Girl is such a delicate shade with that pop of gold. Perfect for spring!
I could definitely be happy forever with Happily Ever After! So shiny it really played tricks with my camera. It just couldn’t handle the beauty.
Another marvelous metallic that’s smooth and glossy is Happily Ever After! ILNP describes Happily Ever After as, “lavender holographic stunner accented with the perfect amount of silver flakes.” Happily Ever After in the sunshine. Whoa, get my sunglasses!
Sticking with the wedding theme, here is Peri Me! I love periwinkles and this one is super special.
Peri Me is a gorgeous faded periwinkle with tons of micro holographic glitters (at least to my eyes that’s what it looks like) and silver and gold micro flakes. 2 coats is perfect! Yes, Peri Me may just be THE polish shade for some upcoming weddings!
Timeless Vow is a soft sage green with gorgeous gold flakes. Smooth application, only 2 coats needed.
Timeless Vow is one of those delicate sage greens everyone is a must for every collection. The added bonus of gold flakes makes this one a stunner for spring! Timeless Vow, oh yes, I promise you want this!

Actually, although I am a day late for the actual Mardi Gras day, folks in New Orleans and most likely beyond are still celebrating. So I thought I’d share with you my super simple Mardi Gras nails using ILNP’s Ultra Chrome Flakies. Of course the three mainstay colors of MG are purple, gold and green. Granted, Mardi Gras is all about celebrating, excess, thinking outside the box and blingy overkill in fashion. But after all that preparation, a simple nail art that still delivers the shine and looks amazing is just the ticket!
Well, I may be a day late and a dollar short, since the true Mardi Gras was technically yesterday. But folks are still celebrating, you can bet on it! I used three MG shaded flakies from the Ultra Chrome Flakies from ILNP. The green one is Open Fields, the gold is Rapture and the purple is Metropolis. All are available in the ILNP.COM store! The accent nail used all three over black. 2 coats on the others over a bare nail, followed by a clear topcoat.

How does one find a favorite out of 13 perfect Ultra Chrome Flakies from ILNP? Not really possible but Neon Rosebud is pretty much up there on my list. Maybe that’s why I have been saving it almost the last. I nearly swatched her over black, but I have been looking for a nail art idea to use the shade I finally chose for undies. Almost Midnight by L’Oreal won out over black for this look. It’s a deep deep eggplant creme. A perfect fit for a flaky as brilliant as Neon Rosebud!
Neon Rosebud is perfect over any shade, but I chose the very deep eggplant creme by L’Oreal, “Almost Midnight”.Neon Rosebud is described as, “Neon Rosebud is just…wow. The primary color range of this beautiful nail polish travels through super vivid fuchsia, green, and gold with hints of other colors in different lighting! A true stunner that lives up to its name!”
For this look I simply used a single diagonal piece of pink foil striping tape over the base color. Then filled in half the nail with Neon Rosebud, then topped with a single layer of topcoat.
I’m love this shifting from brilliant pink to gold to green, even orange!

Are your nail polishes 3-Free?
Yes! All ILNP nail polishes are 3 free! They DO NOT contain Toluene, Formaldehyde, or Dibutyl Phthalate.
What does 3-Free mean?
3-Free means that our nail polishes do not contain Toluene, Formaldehyde, or Dibutyl Phthalate. These 3 ingredients were previously used in most nail polish formulations until recent studies found them to be potentially harmful or irritable to humans. While these chemicals aren’t illegal to use in nail polish (although California law requires special labeling if used), most large brands have already moved to 3-Free formulas at the urge of educated consumers as well as organizations that campaign for safe cosmetics.”
As some of you may already know, my life has been a whirlwind in the last month or two as we attended to the needs of my husband’s ailing mom. She was suffering with severe end stage COPD and has been here at our home in a hospice setting. She passed away on Dec. 6, and the last few weeks of her life were pretty uncomfortable. We have had her funeral services and currently still have company, much welcomed visit from our daughter and her husband. I truly appreciate the outpouring of love, support, patience and prayers of my online friends. Thank you so much! Even though we are in the thick of the holidays, I am pretty much keeping up with my swatching and blogging commitments, a little more sparse than usual. But I’m getting back on track. So on with this week’s ILNP showcase!
Today I’m sharing with you 4 of final 7 Ultra Chrome Flakies with Atlantis, Brilliance, Cold Fusion and Rapture. Be on the lookout on my blog and Instagram within the next week for the final 3, Metropolis, Neon Rosebud and Open Fields! All 13 UCFs are perfect!
First up, Atlantis. Here comes the eye candy! Be sure to click/tap on each image for an even closer view.
Atlantis is described by ILNP as, “Atlantis is breathtaking. This beautiful Ultra Chrome Flakie magically travels through hues of blue, orange, purple, and red. The colors are so vibrant they almost appear as if they’re glowing. A personal favorite!” So cool!Atlantis is amazing over Mega by ILNP and super cool over a black or dark creme!Ahh, I finally found the elusive Atlantis! One coat over Mega by ILNP and one coat over a black creme on the accent nail.
Brilliance…what can I say, it’s brilliant!
Brilliance is described by ILNP as, “Brilliance is a wonderfully vintage feeling Ultra Chrome Flakie nail polish. It might look a bit similar to a couple of the others but we assure you it’s not! The primary color range of Brilliance travels through a pale gold, a pinkish bronze, and a light green. You’ll also be able to notice a bunch of other colors like blues, oranges, and reds depending on your lighting!” Lovely!All the flakies I’m sharing today are only one coat over undies respectively, but really nearly two coats will almost bring them to opacity. Brilliance over Bella by Seche.Well, the stupid sunshine kept teasing me going in and out. I wanted you to see how fab Brilliance is over the vampy cranberry shimmer of Bella by Seche. But you get the idea, it’s stunning!
Cold Fusion, perfect for winter!
Cold Fusion is described by ILNP as, “Cold Fusion is a super cool Ultra Chrome Flakie that’s a must have! Shifting through hues of blue, teal, and even purple, Cold Fusion doesn’t disappoint!” Wear this and chill!I knew the moment I saw Cold Fusion what shade I wanted for it’s undies! Kerfuffle by wHet was a perfect choice because of it’s creamy periwinkle pastel hue.Cold Fusion over Kerfuffle by wHet. Wowza!
And the last for today, Rapture. Holy cow it’s gorgeous over Cygnus Loop by ILNP! First, I’ll share CL with you so you can take in its beauty.
Cygnus Loop is described by ILNP as, “Who would’ve thought you could wear the remnants of a supernova on your fingertips? As of December 6th Facbook quote: “We’re dealing with another supply delay (our product boxes have been held by customs for close to 3 weeks now) so the official release of the Ultra Chrome Flakies will likely be postponed until late December unless we get some really good news next week. I’m not going to risk potentially delaying anyone’s Christmas gifts. This delay also affects ‘in-stock’ products. Anyone making a purchase will be notified before being allowed to complete their checkout of the delays and given the option to cancel or complete their order. This has been a complete nightmare for us at the worst possible time of the year. On the bright side, we will be adding physical gift cards to the ILNP shop in the coming days that can ship immediately. Just in time for Christmas! It’s just like removing regular polish whether you layer it over an undercoat of color, or on the bare nail. I LOVE that!
