Well, this was a fun package I received in the mail today. Some gorgeous gel polishes, shimmers and Cat Eye, a dozen metallic foils and some tropical scented cuticle oil. Every single item is a winner. Let’s take a look!
First, a denim blue frosty Magnetic Cat Eye gel polish, BP 05. I thought it was going to be more of a midnight blue, but this works for me! Applied over black gel polish to really make it stand out. It is item #41515
BP 05 Magnetic Cat Eye Gel is a gorgeous deep denim blue, here I used a round magnet for this special effect. Cure after applying magnet and voila!
Set pf 12 Nail Art Foil in Gold, Silver, oil slick red/orange/gold/teal and oil slick gold/red/orange/fuscia Set! Easy to apply over nail polish then top coat, or over any stick layer then top coat with gel as I did here over BP Cat Eye Gel BP 05. Item # 3966
And last but not least, an amazing cuticle oil pen, item #39329 in the scent of Coconut and man it smells amazing. Not fake or plasticky, but like real coconut. It isn’t overly oily, but feels just right. It also comes in Pineapple, Peach, Lavender and Almond.
An amazing Nail Cuticle Oil 2ml Fruit or Flower scented, in a handy metallic pen. I used Coconut here and it smells amazing, not too shiny either so great for photographing nail swatches. I am loving this stuff!

Recently I got to try three of the Winter 2016 A Delos Holiday collection by Indigo Bananas. I want to jump right in here and say the formulas are perfect! So easy to apply, base coat recommended and top coat optional, they are shiny!
NOTE: I was going to get this posed over the weekend, but Saturday morning my son and I hit by a hit and run driver, we were coming out of a stop sign intersection in a residential area, and the cross traffic was empty, except…a guy came barreling down and I didn’t see him, and he hit me at a full 30 mph! We are ok, I’m still a bit sore but nothing broken, but my car đĽ The guy that ran into me took off, so there’s that. Anyway, thank God for insurance as he is nowhere to be found, yet. Gah, I can’t get enough of this 2 coater, Industrial Park. It is described as, “a beautifully unique muted blue shade from our upcoming Neutrals collection!”Ahh, mon cherie! Here is Mon Amour from ILNP Fall 2016 collection. Isn’t she dark and juicy? She is described as, “a luxuriously deep holographic beauty that will easily find a place in your heart! This intensely dark purple shade is borderline black in certain lighting conditions with a wonderfully saturated finish to it. Look closely and you’ll find the combination of beautiful wine red shimmers in Mon Amour create the perfect foundation for this stunner! I have 13 new polishes from ILNP to share with you for Fall 2016, but for today, we will start out with the first four. Let’s take a look!
Oh my goodness, Highline is a gorgeous mulichrome shade shifting stunner. No matter what direction the light comes in it never looks the same. From a strong golden brass, to pine green, burgundy to bronze, this one is breathtaking. 2 coats.From the 2016 Fall collection by ILNP, Sitting Fireside is another shade shifter, although less obvious, the holo sparkled berry sneaks in a fiery red from time to time. 2 coats.Clever Girl from the Fall 2016 ILNP collection is a delicate teal base highlighted with pinkish holographic sparkles. 2 to 3 coats, but I liked it more sheer using 2.Alexander from the new Fall 2016 collection is described as, “a uniquely intricate holographic shade that sits on the line between olive-green, light brown, and even grey in certain types of lighting. Formulated for maximum depth, Alexander is packed with just the right amount of varying holographic pigments for a tremendously busy sparkle in direct light.” Here he is in two coats.
Conclusion: So far and no surprise, each of these apply like butter, shine like heck and are the epitome of Autumn. I can’t wait to show you more so stay tuned!

Andrea from Indigo Bananas sent me a beautiful selection of polishes from each season so I could show you the diversity of her products. Well, I ended up with seven, even though there are only four seasons. đ You know it’s like a potato chip, once you have one, it’s hard to stop! I was going to break up the post into two, but oh well, I couldn’t wait to show you. And she is having a grand sale right now. She’s going to be moving and rather busy (I know how she feels). Details below. In the meantime, let’s take a peak at what I have for you today. This should hold you over until her new collection comes to fruition!

Let’s start with The Land of Green Ginger. This really pops for a pastel! See how that slides off the tongue? Popping pastel!
The Land of Green Ginger from the Spring 2015 collection is a cool minty teal green, buttery smooth teaming with glass flecks. Two coats here. It is described as: “Land of Green Ginger is a light, mint green creme packed with gold & gold to green colorshifting glass fleck (large size) shimmers, and scattered holo. Very flattering green! This polish is quite a bit lighter than Immortal Game, and a mint color, so quite a bit warmer than the medium teal of Immortal Game, in addition to having a different mix of shimmer.”
Nest up will be three gorgeous neons from the Neon The 10th Element collection. Starting with a brilliant pink named after the whole collection!
Neon The 10th Element is a brilliant, eye-popping Neon pink, and named after it’s collection from Indigo Bananas Summer 2015 release. It is described as: “Neon is the 10th Element – and is the brightest color in this collection. Eye searing hot pink. This color is bright hot pink with no yellow cast.”
Next up is Carbon Dallas. I love bright watery blues like this!
2 coats of this brilliant blue neon creme from Indigo Bananas Neon the 10th Element collection, Carbon Dallas. Of the three neons I’m presenting today, I left this one in its natural state, they all dry satiny/semi matte, so you can see the finish. It is described as: “a blue/light blue neon creme that is semi-matte/satiny finish with two coats recommended.”
Purple AND Neon? Yes please! Here is Phlogiston Paradise from the Neon The 10th Element collection.
Phlogiston Paradise from the Neon The 10th Element collection is a super opaque brilliant purple creme, 2 coats, as with all these. Just for a fun I included an accent nail using Hole In The Sky by Indigo Bananas. Somewhat because it looks cool. Plus if you ever saw (and appreciate the quirkiness of the film, The 5th Element) you can relate the “hole in the sky” reference. Stumped? Message me, LOL Anyway, it is described as: “Phlogiston Paradise is a purple creme; it leans more blue than other purple colors and is more violet-toned than royal purple-toned. Swatch as pictured is two coats with top coat. As a neon, this polish will try semi-matte and not totally shiny. A top coat is recommended but not needed; the polish will become shiny with a day of wear if shine is a concern.”
For the last three seasons, we have some Summer, Winter and Fall faves. Starting with Hole in The Sky from Summer Rains collex!
This one is GLORIOUS! Hole in the Sky from the Indigo Bananas Summer Rains collection in 2-3 coats. Great formula with tons of depth. It is described as: “The base of this color is a purple, but it is blue-leaning. The red to green shimmer and flakies in it give it a more purple cast. It photographs very blue in some lights (fluorescent) and with some cameras. At an angle the flakes & shimmer shift green, and the polish will appear bluer. The linear holo effect is subtle (in order to not wash out the shimmer), but should be present in the sun and direct light. Please apply three thin coats for ideal holographic effect (holo pigment is more linear when applied in a very thin layer).”
Everyone needs a teal holo, especially a linear! Here is Shrieking Teals from Fall.
Indigo Bananas Shrieking Teals from the Fall 2015 collection in two amazing coats. It is described as: “Shrieking Teals is a vibrant green leaning teal linear holographic. The holographic rainbow is slightly more subdued in this polish because of the vibrant color. Top coat affects the color of this polish a little bit – the polish is a deeper teal shade, it is shinier, and the holographic effect is a bit more pronounced but less linear. Multiple thinner coats tend to give stronger and deeper holographic effects. **Important notes**: The pigments in this polish have the possibility of staining. However, the staining is temporary and on the nail surface and can be removed or fades on it’s own. To remove such stains, the fastest method is with cuticle remover on top of the nail and light scrubbing. A base coat prevents staining. Top coat is recommended for this polish for increased shine, and a slightly stronger holo.”
And the last one is from Winter 2015, Night Gathers. Beautiful!
Gorgeous and sultry Night Gathers from Indigo Bananas Winter ’15 collection. Two coats here! It is described as: “Night Gathers is an inky blue leaning black linear holographic polish. Two coats for full coverage, top coat recommended and does not affect the holo flame. Multiple thinner coats tend to give stronger and deeper holographic effects compared to a single thicker coat.”
Conclusion: Loved all of these. The cool thing about neons, are they are bright and cheery. The coolest thing about these are you need no undies, no tighty whities! LOL They pop on their own. I highly recommend all these. No go shopping!

I have been dying to get this review out to my lovely readers for a couple of weeks now. I received this set right at Christmastime and I was also recovering from being sick most of December. My sweet hubby just has double carpal tunnel surgery the other day, well, on our anniversary! Needless to say, we are healing up nicely, my company has departed and the dust has settled in our house. đ I’m so excited to finally share these four gorgeous polishes with you. The Baroness X Dreamscape Part II collection is a simply put, “DREAMY”! Let’s take a look at these fabulous indie creations!
The Dreamscape Pt. II collection is a set of 4 iridescent shifty micro flakies and thin metallic shard glitter polishes. Opacity: use 1-2 coats as a topper over any color you’d like, looks best over black or complimenting darker colors. From left/rear: Dynastic, Phantasmic, Surrealistic and Etheric.
The formulas are smooth and glide nicely over any basecoat (and it is recommended that you use a deep, dark or black underneath to really show how these babies pop). They dry fairly smooth and I recommend a thin topcoat. They wear really well. After swatching all four of these, I wore one of them for full week, plus a couple of days. Although easy to remove, I had very little tip wear and no chipping. On with the Dreamscapes!
First up, Etheric!
Etheric seems like it was made for a glossy black undercoat. Shown here is one thin coat over Chloe & Bella “Blackout”.Etheric is described as: “Etheric is a glass flakie polish with fuschia glitter shards. The flakies are a larger size which promotes a strong multichrome effect. Facing forward you can see a bright teal and it shifts over to blue, purple and then fuschia. You can wear this on its own but it looks great over black or complimenting colors.”
Dynastic is a dynamo!

Phantasmic is like peering into the Caribbean!
Phantasmic gives off a mermaidy sheen…a really fluid shade shifter. Here I used one thin coat over “Poison Ivy”, a deep blackened green shimmer by Wet ‘N Wild.Phantasmic is described as: “…a glass flakie polish with green glitter shards. The glass flakies are a larger size which promotes a strong multichrome effect. Facing forward you can see a turquoise blue and it shifts over to a deeper blue and violet. You can wear this on its own but it looks great over black or complimenting colors.”
And Surrealistic is stunning!
Surrealistic simply glows over black polish! Here I used one coat over “Blackout” and topcoated with “Crystal Clear” by Chloe & Bella.Surrealistic is described as: “…a glass flakie polish with blue glitter shards. The glass flakies are a larger size which promotes a strong multichrome effect. Facing forward you can see a pink leaning purple and it shifts over to orange/amber or gold. You can wear this on its own but it looks great over black or complimenting colors.”I love how Demi includes glass buttons on the lid tops. I was thrilled when I found out I would be reviewing these six glorious shades from the Cirque Colors LE Icon Duos for Nordstrom’s Pop-In Opening Ceremony. This is my first chance to review for Cirque and looking forward to even more swatches and reviews for Cirque creator, Annie Pham. The three duo sets include 1 holographic and 1 creme polish.
Factoid: I’ve had this ready for a few days but the dreaded Thanksgiving “tummy bug” hit me like a brick and sent me to bed for a couple of days. But I’m back running on all cylinders and ready to blog once again!
Let’s take a look! I’ll start with the Oporto and Storm King Icon Duo.
Oporto and Storm King pack. A perfect pair of opposites.Oporto is a rich mahogany holographic with glowing red embers. 2 coats go on smooth and glossy!Storm King. A mere two coats of this highly pigmented, muted icy blue creme.
Next up is a gorgeous duo containing Selvedge and Tangerine Dream.
Selvedge is a dreamy one coat deep blue creme and Tangerine Dream is a holo tangerine orange.I couldn’t be more pleased with this 1 coat creme! Pigments are off the chart. A deep cobalt blue creme that delivers on the first coat.Tangerine Dream is a 2-coat spicy orange holographic.
Modern Muse, a shimmery 2-coat dusty pink holographic. El Capitan is a 1-coat olive green creme.Modern Muse is a delicate yet highly holographic dusty pink. Perfect any time of year.What can I say? It’s perfect! The formula, as are the others, is perfect, easy to apply and so pigmented. El Capitan will blow your socks off. Really glossy and that color. I have nothing else like it.

CONCLUSION:
If you get a chance to score any or all of these Cirque Color Icon Duos through Nordstrom.com or at the Pop-ins, do not hesitate! They are all amazing. My faves of the cremes were El Capitan because of it’s super pigmented color, and Selvedge for it’s moody deep blue that’s so rich and elegant. Of the three fab holos, my fave of the bunch was Oporto. Sexy. That’s all I can say!

Next in line is Lulu. All these are so stunning and this, I just didn’t want to take it off!
Lulu is a gorgeous 2 coater. One of those deep and mysterious holos. It reminds me of a starry night sky. Love this one! Lulu is described as, “a delicious deep grape holographic nail polish with strong blue undertones. The holographic particles range from extremely small to slightly oversized for an unmatched holographic sparkle thatâs absolutely stunning! Fully opaque in 2-3 coats!”
And the very last one, Maiden Lane. Makes me sort of sad, but hey, if I know ILNP’s creator, Barbra, she’s already in her lab thinking up new bottles of joy!
Maiden Lane reminds me of denim with sparkles! That holo makes this stunner have a gunmetal look in some lights. You’ll love how this gorgeous lacquer applies! 2 coats. Are your nail polishes 3-Free? Yes! All ILNP nail polishes are 3 free! They DO NOT contain Toluene, Formaldehyde, or Dibutyl Phthalate.
What does 3-Free mean? 3-Free means that our nail polishes do not contain Toluene, Formaldehyde, or Dibutyl Phthalate. These 3 ingredients were previously used in most nail polish formulations until recent studies found them to be potentially harmful or irritable to humans. While these chemicals arenât illegal to use in nail polish (although California law requires special labeling if used), most large brands have already moved to 3-Free formulas at the urge of educated consumers as well as organizations that campaign for safe cosmetics.â
