St. Lucia is a banana peel yellow. Vibrant and pigmented. A bit on the jelly side. This took 2 coats. Nail art pieces by Glitter Lambs on Etsy!

Martinique is a glorious key lime green with hints of golden shimmer. Absolutely love this. 3 smooth and easy coats. Nail charms by Glitter Lambs on Etsy!

Conclusion. I love citrus, and especially love citrusy polishes like this. I would recommend using a good base coat in case of pigment bleed. The yellow is especially pigmented. SquareHue Decades Collection 1980s for 09.15

If you don’t already subscribe to SquareHue, this monthly 3-polish box just gets better and better. In two years, I’ve only had a couple polishes that I didn’t care for. This month, all three polishes hold their own mystique. In honor of the Big hair 80s, the Decades Collection takes us to the time when Cable TV was king, the Hubble telescope and technology expanded our horizons, and punk took on a whole new meaning. Let’s take a look at the polishes from this month’s box.

Vice is a creamy wet concrete 2-coater. Great formula and glossy.

Sierra Sunset is a 3-coater high gloss shimmer.

I decided this beauty deserved some special treatment. “Deep Space” is a blackened deep, deep burnt burgundy. That’s the best I can describe it! I added 24 kt gold flake topcoat and although I couldn’t easily capture it very well, the accent nail has some stars using Vice. Meh, my artwork failed there. But this polish, a 2-coater, is gorgeous!
