Sophisticated is a dreamy medium purple.
Profound is the perfect green for both Fall and Winter!
And to top it off, here is sparkly pale gold called Dreamier.

If you’ve never had the opportunity to try wHet nail lacquers, you NEED to get your hands on them. I have never been disappointed by any of them. Highly glossy finishes, rich pigments and longlasting wear, you can’t go wrong with these polishes and they are worth every penny. Let’s get right to them.
I’ll start with the gorgeously reformulated pink creme, Ethereal.
I love a good gold polish and although I supposed I own plenty, they all have different qualities. I love Opulent because the formula is so superior to many I’ve tried.
Hubris is one of the stunning coral/salmon cremes that look fabulous on every skin tone. Love this!!!
And last, but a new fave of mine, Yesternight! Wow, I can’t wait to try this in the fall. Such a deep blackberry and since it’s sort of a jelly the shine is never-ending. Of course it’s perfect for any time of year, but I think it has Fall written all over it.
Get yours today! wHet polishes come in 15 ml/.5 fl oz bottles, they’re 3-free, chip-resistant, vegan, limited edition color collections and never tested on animals. You can see all the California-based company’s colors at http://www.whetnails.com. I’ve tried some of their other bath products and they are amazing!!!
Some of the many things I love about indie polish companies is their constant vision for thinking outside the box, pushing their own limits and constantly adding to their inventory of wonderful shades and finishes. Madam Glam is one of those companies that continue to bring it all to the table. Today I’ll be sharing some super glossy cremes. All perfect for the office or a beach party! Let’s see what we have!
First up is fast becoming one of my favorite shade types for spring and summer. Even without a tan, it makes you seem like you have one! Here is Falling For You. I think of this one as a bleached neon type of shade. Either way, it works for me.
Another glossy pale peachy pink is Rose Pethal. Very neutral as far as nudes go and I think it would work on many skin tones.
And last for this post is a rich grey that is super glossy and a dream to apply. Underground Queen is a perfect grey on its own or as a moody base for nail art.
In conclusion, I love all three of these cremes. No surprise there! 🙂 All of these are available now in Madam Glam‘s store.
Madam Glam offers a ton in Vampy shades, neutrals, Neons, Pastels, Glitters and Metallics, and nail treatments. They also have Soak Off Gel polishes, eye makeup, blushes, foundations and lipsticks. All are full size beautifully and carefully packaged bottles. All Madam Glam products are “five-free”: Product does not contain Formaldehyde, Toluene, DiButyl Phthalate (DBP), Formaldehyde Resin Or Camphor.

The month of April brings is the 1930s from the SquareHue Decades Collections monthly subscription box. And boy is it bright and happy! Each month subbies get three full size polishes related to the changing themes. For 2015 SquareHue is featuring a different decade. Fresh on the heels of the 1929 stock market crash, folks going from feast to famine experienced many changes. They found new strength in themselves and community, and fun and fashion shared the spotlight with new technologies and pastimes. And just like changing fashions, the world’s focus was centered around recovery, staying afloat and avoiding another war. On a lighter note, let’s take a fun look at the colors inspired by that decade.
First up is what I would definitely call a tomato red. Not in the orange family but you can definitely see it in this glossy red creme called Boardgame.
Next up is WPA. It’s a great creme, not quite as glossy as the other two, but a cool medium toned green.
And lastly we have that gorgeous grape, a slightly dusky purple called Tomorrowland. The formula is much like WPA, and is opaque in two coats.
Just for fun, I did a dry marble accent nail using all three shades. A culmination of the hopes and dreams of the 1930s.
Come back in May for my next SH post on the 05.15 collection, 1940. They ship out on the 1st of the month!
Subscription price for SquareHue is $14.99/mo +Shipping and Handling out of Miami, Florida. Subbies can choose immediate monthly deliveries or suspend/skip months as they wish. There are other new incentives, see the web site for details.
SquareHue is focusing their HueGive donations from portions of their proceeds to the prevention awareness, protection of trafficked victims and the prosecution of human traffickers. Five-free. Vegan-Friendly. Cruelty-Free. Made in the USA.
I’m practically speechless…not! 😉 Actually, I’m so amazed at the glossy goodness that is Venique I want everyone to know about it. I have four beauties to share with you today. These formulas are smooth and consistent, glossy as heck and all very pigmented, except for one. But the beautiful color overshadowed the need for more than one or two coats. So, here we go!
Designer Trend is a high gloss creme lacquer. This rich warm red has vamp written all over it!
Next is a gorgeous gilded red called Spying On High Heels. A metallic marvel if I do say so myself. It contains a mother load of gold within a warm red shimmer. Glossy and a thicker formula than the cremes, easy application…super easy!
Here’s a mermaidy metallic shimmer for you, Emerald Sea! It’s a glossy, blue hued teal with a strong shimmery effect. It is sheer but not thin on application. I used three coats but it’s worth it!
Last but not least, sexy Sky High Spike! This glossy plum creme is a winner. You don’t have to wear spike heels to be this stunning, but it couldn’t hurt! Again, it’s a plummy red, and photos are hard to capture the exact shade. With the lighting I had it seemed to change with the whim of the sun!
Overall, I loved each and every one of these polishes and I can’t wait to share more with you. They are pretty amazing and on the first coat you also be thinking, “where have you been all my life?”
Loxa Beauty has this to say about Venique Nail Lacquer. “It is made with Sil-Tek, a silicone-based ingredient that causes the polish to be flexible. It’s a polish that guards against the annoying chipping and flaking of a regular manicure. Plus, Sil-Tek works with the infused diamond dust ingredient for an extra shiny finish. When the original shine is lost, all you have to do is buff your nails a little, and the shine returns! With one coat drying in just 4 minutes, Venique Nail Lacquer is truly a revolutionary nail polish!
Wanderlust by wHet is a glossy, deep deep blue lacquer. As deep and mysterious as the restless ocean. Looking at the bottle, you can see a slight shimmer of purple. But it really doesn’t show up on the nail like it does in the bottle. No worries. You’ll still be captivated by the blackened blue. What does Wanderlust mean? Look on the bottom of the bottle!
Throughout my life, I’ve traveled quite a bit. Planes, trains and automobiles, I’m always ready to explore someplace new. Of course I prefer places with sand, water and warm tropical breezes! I’m especially partial to the ocean. So I’m natural drawn to blues. Just talking about it makes me ready to pack.
The formula, as expected, goes on smooth as silk, no flooding and I only used one coat here and it’s as deep as you see in the bottle. But I’d imagine a second coat might bring an even deeper effect. It dries fairly quickly. In fact by the time I got to the last nail, it wasn’t even tacky.
Take a trip over to wHet and see what floats your boat!
