December 2015 SquareHue Decades Collection really delivers!

Today I’m sharing with you the last box of the 2015 Decades Collection, 2010s. What a great way to finish out the collection. This crelly-like red is what I call, Red Dress red! It’s glossy, 2 coats, and application was a dream. Cah caw!!!

If you want perfect purples, look no further because SH always offers up great ones. This festive micro shimmer is perfect in just two coats. It offers lots of gloss and sparkle. Accented with Olympiad.

Olympiad is a 2 coat white gold micro shimmer. Fantastic formula and it goes with anything! Accent nail gets the dot treatment using the other two shades in the set, Bird Fling and Baby, Baby, Baby!

A silvery trio from SquareHue Decades Collection

I especially love this month’s installment of the Decades collection from polish subscription company, SquareHue. The collection focuses on the decade of 2000s, and this silvery trio commemorates a couple of key memories the whole world shares in one way or another. Hurricane Katrina in 2005 and the terrorist attacks of 9/11/01. A bright light that helped ease the pain of those times was Idol, a program that allowed us to keep our mind off a changing world. And as I pen this entry tonite, the world has been put on alert once again. Unfolding as we speak, terrorist attacks have occurred all around Paris, France. Never Forget is still on our tongues. But I don’t write this to bring you down and rekindle painful memories. I mention it because we can’t forget we don’t live in a perfect world and we can’t bury our heads in the sand. And we must continue on and hold our heads up high. We can be positive and be kind, helpful, hopeful. There is still a lot of beauty in this world. We appreciate companies like SquareHue. Not only do they bring beauty and color into the world. They contribute daily to the rescue of trafficked and kidnapped individuals. That is hope my friends.

Never Forget 2002, is a silver foil metallic one-coater. It dries to a satiny finish. I applied two lines of Hurricane to represent the Twin Towers.

Idol 2002 is a simple silver micro glitter topper in a clear smooth base. One coat here over Never Forget.

Hurricane 2005 is a metallic pewter that dries to a medium satin finish. One coat! Katrina seems like it was yesterday.
