My feet are FINALLY on their way to being summer ready. I tend to wear sandles…a lot! And because of the sliding and inconsistent placement of your feet, especially the heels, heel callouses are bound to happen. Easier to get callouses than get rid of them! Until now. Meet CND® Spa Cucumber Heel Therapy™. The combination of the Heel Therapy Callus Smoother and the Intensive Treatment will have you hitting the beach with no embarrassment in no time.
A sole-ful journey of soothing hydration. The perfect finish to a pampering spa pedicure.
Before first treatment, my heels were cracking and peeling and annoying dry. But they were even worse this winter before using the rest of the CND Spa treatments, my review here a few weeks back. Sorry the photo is a crazy angle. It’s really really hard to photograph the bottom of one’s own foot. LOL
And after first treatment! No editing but I probably should have gotten someone else to take the photo with my big girl camera, my Canon DSLR, instead of with my smartphone. But I couldn’t hold the giant camera and take a photo of the bottom of my foot. 😉
Conclusion: I am highly satisfied with how immediate the smoothing results. I have always been on the hunt for a good and permanent heel exfoliating solution. I’ve tried DIY concoctions but they smell funky sometimes. I would highly recommend if your salon or spa doesn’t have this treatment, just ask, plead even! Also, please read my review on the rest of the CND Spa collection!

Before I post my review and swatches of the 2015 Garden Muse collection of “Weekly” polishes by CND Vinylux, I wanted to share with you the fabulous polish and shellac remover included in my product review box! Now I go through a lot of removers (s). I swatch nearly daily and at times have swatched up to about a dozen polish changes in a day (and on some occasions more!) That mounts up to a lot of remover friends! And that much remover has got to take a toll on a nail polish reviewer’s precious fingertips. I have a bevy of removers, cuticle oils and balms…and cotton! But when I opened the box to see this unexpected and very much appreciated surprise of the CND remover, I was both nervous and happy at the same time. Here is a photo of the product before I further explain.
Okay, I can’t hold back any longer. I flippin’ love this stuff! Oh my gosh. First it’s very emolliating. You can feel it because as you apply the tiniest amount to your cotton ball you can tell how slick it is, but not actually oily. Then up wafts a truly pleasant scent of cucumber and what smells to me like vanilla, but just slightly. But that’s just me because there is no vanilla essence in there. I have gone through many standard removers from the drug store and no matter what they claim to be scented with, all I smell is acetone. I may even have brain damage! lol, Just kidding. I haven’t yet tried it with a glitter bomb but I am fully confident it is up for the task.
Normally I apply remover to small pieces of cotton ball (which I shred enough to cover five nails), then place on each nail on one hand. By the time I get back to the thumbnail (considering this is normal polish, not a loaded glitter bomb), I should fairly easily remover all the polish. Not always possible with drug store acetone/acetone complex. With the CND brand which I have noted may be used on their long wear shellacs and weekly polishes, etc., the remover was nearly ready to remove my polish by the time I got to the next nail! I kid you not, this stuff is the bomb! Here are the factoids provided by the manufacturer. I’m expecially excited about the prospect of improving my natural nail color. Destaining is a pain!
