Welcome back! It’s always an exciting time around LacqueredLori’s swatch table when the seasons change. Lots of polish bottles line up waiting their turn and the fragrance of lacquer fills the air. Fall is here and like clockwork, ILNP never fails to make a bold entrance with their new line. Enter ILNP Fall Neutrals and Fall polishes for 2016. By the way, Pre-Orders begin September 16th!

I have 13 new polishes from ILNP to share with you for Fall 2016, but for today, we will start out with the first four. Let’s take a look!

Oh my goodness, Highline is a gorgeous mulichrome shade shifting stunner. No matter what direction the light comes in it never looks the same. From a strong golden brass, to pine green, burgundy to bronze, this one is breathtaking. 2 coats.

From the 2016 Fall collection by ILNP, Sitting Fireside is another shade shifter, although less obvious, the holo sparkled berry sneaks in a fiery red from time to time. 2 coats.

Clever Girl from the Fall 2016 ILNP collection is a delicate teal base highlighted with pinkish holographic sparkles. 2 to 3 coats, but I liked it more sheer using 2.

Alexander from the new Fall 2016 collection is described as, “a uniquely intricate holographic shade that sits on the line between olive-green, light brown, and even grey in certain types of lighting. Formulated for maximum depth, Alexander is packed with just the right amount of varying holographic pigments for a tremendously busy sparkle in direct light.” Here he is in two coats.

Conclusion: So far and no surprise, each of these apply like butter, shine like heck and are the epitome of Autumn. I can’t wait to show you more so stay tuned!

What is your vegan/cruelty free policy?

While these chemicals aren’t illegal to use in nail polish (although California law requires special labeling if used), most large brands have already moved to 3-Free formulas at the urge of educated consumers as well as organizations that campaign for safe cosmetics.”

More awesome Autumn shades from Mosi Mei luxury nail lacquer

Today I’ve chosen four more fall fashion shades from the Mosi Mei luxury nail lacquer store at www.mosimei.com. All of these have superior formulas today have immense shine apply like a dream. If you got to read my first review (HERE) you’ll know how impressed I already am! Let’s get started!

Here are some fall fashion lacquer choices from the Mosi Mei store. From left: Original, Modern, Debonair and Secure. All are Ultra Shine glosses.

Let’s start with that glossy deep purple which I’m an immediate sucker for, Original.

Original is an opaque Ultra shine deep dusty purple, 2-coat creme. This is your fall purple folks!

Here is Original mattified with Mosi Mei’s own Matte topcoat.

Here is “Original” mattified with Mosi Mei Matte. A quick drying, very mattifying Matte topcoat. It imparts such a velvety feel to any polish.

Next up is a super shiny pale grey, Modern. It’s a clean palette for your fall nail art!

Modern is an opaque Ultra shine, pale cool toned grey, 1-coat creme.

One of the glossiest deep blues I’ve ever tried, Debonair!

Debonair is an opaque Ultra gloss deep navy blue, creme. Is there a description beyond Ultra? Mega maybe? lol

And last, for today that it, a chocolatey brown, Secure.

Secure is an opaque Ultra shine medium brown, 2-coat creme. It’s like a melted chocolate bar on your fingertips!

CND Vinylux Autumn Wedding trio

I received the CND Vinylux Weekly Polish Autumn Wedding trio recently from RPR Marketing. The trio is a fanciful mix of dark and light. Negligee is a perfect semi-sheer pink for the bride. Or maybe in keeping with tradition of “something blue”, Creekside as a pale blue creme that is very bride or bridesmaid appropriate. Faux Fur is a deep chocolate cream, and a perfect choice for an autumn themed wedding.

“Something Old, Something New, Something Brown & Something Blue.”

Negligee is a semi-sheer pink nude with a very delicate touch of blue shimmer, 2-4 depending on how sheer you want it.

My fave of the bunch, Negligee is a sheer pale pink with a touch of blue shimmer. the formula is glossy and in two coats you get an innocent, creamy and delicate effect. I think you might get full opacity in 3 coats, but I loved the semi-sheer look of 2.

Creekside is a light, sky blue creme. 2 coats.

Creekside is a creamy baby blue, 2 coats and a glossy finish. Perfect for “something blue”!

Faux Fur is a deep chocolate creme. 2 coats.

Faux Fur is a dark chocolate brown creme, very opaque and fairly glossy.

CONCLUSION: Negligee was my favorite, and I don’t often say that about sheers or semi-sheers. But this shade and formula also excels at correcting yellow tints to the nail. 2 coats and you could not see the slightly yellow tinge I have on my natural nails from repeated polish use. Faux Fur had a couple of problems although once I applied both coats and shook the heck out of the bottle, the little brown pigment specs finally mixed through. I think it was a bottle that hadn’t been properly mixed. But it’s fine now. Creekside, and I’ve featured it before, was as perfect as a pale blue cream can get!

…And some golden glitters from Glitter Lambs new Fall line!

I’m loving the Golden theme here! From left, Golden Leaves, Hay Ride and Butterscotch Corn Maze.

Glitter Lambs Fall 2015 Collection, warm and toasty!

Indie polish maker, Glitter Lambs, will be presenting a whopping 14 glitter toppers for fall this year. I have them all and I’ll be sharing a couple at a time. I don’t want to overwhelm you but you’re gonna love these. Like last year, owner Jamie has again knocked it out of the park with her glitter toppers. They will be available for order starting September 8th! Let’s get started with the first two. I call them, “the cinnamons”! LOL

These glitters are loaded and easy to use. You can even get full coverage in 2-3 coats!

Cinnamon Nut Bread is described as a clear base filled with small bronze hex glitters, small sand hex glitters, and small burgundy cinnamon colored hex. I wearing it over “Just Kiss Me” by Victoria’s Secret.

Fall Cinnamon Sticks is described as a clear base filled with small burgundy hex glitters. I”m wearing one thin coat (very loaded and can be totally opaque in 2 coats on its own) over Cabaret by Jordana.

Zoya Flair Collection for Fall 2015, pt. 2

Today I bring you part 2 of the Zoya Fall Collection for 2015, Flair! Six bottles of jewel-toned metallic polishes that are perfect for your autumn wardrobe.

First up is Estelle. A lovely Royal blue metallic. Fabulous formula and I love everything about it!

“Estelle can be best described as a blue on blue liquid metal with a blackened base.”I used two easy coats.

Zoya makes lots and lots of purples. And of all the purple Zoya polishes I own, I have nothing else like this jewel called Giada!

“Giada can be best described as a purple liquid metal with a hint of fuchsia pearl.” I only needed one coat! This purple is amazing!

Ember, it’s so hot, it’s cool!

“Ember can be best described as a deep, fiery red liquid metal with enough blue to be wearable for all skin tones.” Again, absolutely perfect formula, one coat. It was so hard to make up my mind which of these was my favorite, but this is most surely a contender.

Aggie is one of the chameleon chromes that I can’t get enough of!

“Aggie can be best described as a gold holo flip liquid metal with bronze micro glitter. Sheer enough for layering with 1 coat or fully opaque in 3 coats!” I needed only two coats for full opacity.

Cinnamon is a delicious brown metallic.

“Cinnamon can be best described as a classic bronze liquid metal, originally designed for Zang Toi NYFW Fall/Winter 2015.” What a gorgeous brown! Two coats here.

And finally, a bold metal, Tris.

“Tris can be best described as a blackened, brushed nickel liquid metal.” I used two coats.

FOCUS (creams)

Focus polishes are cremes and shown here, from left: Charli, Desiree, Hannah, Janel, Lidia and Sia.
