The Gondola Venice box from SquareHue is a work of art

I literally, not exaggerating here, gasped when I opened this month’s box from SquareHue’s Adventure Collection, Gondola Venice, for October. Three old world shades you’d very much expect to find while gliding down the canals of Venice. With all the artful charm and historic grace of this beautiful Italian city, you are sure to find these exact hues while exploring all it’s alleys, stores and galleries. Let’s see what Venice looks like on the nail!

Here are the 3 bottles from the SquareHue Adventure Collection box for 10.16 Gondola Venice set. SH nailed the artistry and classic old world hues of Venice. A place where time stands still. From left, Canal Grande (w/silver shimmer), Santa Maria del Giglio (high gloss deep taupe creme), and Campo San Moisè (high gloss deep beet red).

From the SquareHue Adventure Collection box for 10.16 Gondola Venice set, here is Canal Grande. It’s a deep teal/aqua with silver shimmer. Mimicking the delightful canals of Venice, this 2-coater looks even more chic out of the bottle!

From the SquareHue Adventure Collection box for 10.16 Gondola Venice set, here is Santa Maria del Giglio. It is a buttery smooth one coater, a taupey neutral. Deep and classy, this one is a must have!

From the SquareHue Adventure Collection box for 10.16 Gondola Venice set, here is Campo San Moisè. Breathtakingly classic red creme. This 2-coater glides on with ease, a bit on the thin side but totally manageable. It reminds me of beet juice. Glorious!

CONCLUSION: SquareHue couldn’t have chosen more perfect colors for the Gondola Venice box. All so complimentary to the other shades, each formula also rates high marks. The thickest in application was the taupey creme, Santa Maria del Giglio and I only needed one coat. Campo San Moisè is a beet red creme that is drool-worthy and oh so glossy! It’s much thinner in formula but I had no pooling issues and it goes on really nice. This is my kind of red for Fall! Canal Grande is also a winner with its subtle silver shimmer. The shimmer doesn’t take over and therefore qualifies for day or night wear. Two easy coats and this very flattering deep teal aqua stunner.
