Happy Spring to all you lovers of this seasons colors. I have two beautiful Spring ILNP collections to share with you which I will present one today and the other later in the week. Today’s collection is the ILNP Jelly Collection. Six super smooth, glossy and sparkly jellies to sink your teeth into. First, let me share with you a taste of springtime in Texas! The Bluebonnets are in bloom and a host of other glorious colors with Indian Paintbrush, wild Buttercups and the delicate, yet thorny Mesquite.

And onto the ILNP Spring Jelly collection! They are all sheer to start and can be worn many ways, 2-4 coats for semi-sheer to fully opaque, sandwich them or whatever! All are smooth and glossy. They are $10ea or $60 for the ILNP Spring Jelly 2016 set.

Let’s begin with Bffs. A grape jelly with tons of sparkle and personality.
I applied 3 easy coats of BFFs. BFF’s is described as “a tastily translucent concord grape jelly loaded with holographic goodness. Jello Shot in 3 coats. So glossy, it’s juicy! Night Light! Who doesn’t need a bit of light and sparkle when the sun goes down?!
This is 3 coats. Remember, jellies dry super glossy and are sheer on the first coat. Really, this is nearly opaque enough to get away with 2 coats, depending on your free edge. Night Light is described as “a beautifully crisp deep blue-violet jelly loaded with holographic micro-flakes. Valerie is a stunning shade that reminds me of pomegranate juice!
Valerie in 3 coats, 2 was nearly opaque for me. Valerie is described as “a stunning and incomparable mulberry leaning jelly that is a real show-stopper in any lighting. Sweet Pea, as fresh as the blooming flower it’s named after.

Conclusion: All six of these jellies were smooth as silk to apply. I recommend applying thin layers to maximize the dry time. I waited about 3 minutes after each coat. I have virtually no cleanup to do as these polishes apply without pooling and clean nicely to the brush. Every shade was super glossy, and the added sparkle set these jellies apart. I highly recommend this collection. I’d have loved to see a grass-green but maybe one is coming down the road. Love love love these!

What does 3-Free mean? 3-Free means that our nail polishes do not contain Toluene, Formaldehyde, or Dibutyl Phthalate. These 3 ingredients were previously used in most nail polish formulations until recent studies found them to be potentially harmful or irritable to humans. While these chemicals aren’t illegal to use in nail polish (although California law requires special labeling if used), most large brands have already moved to 3-Free formulas at the urge of educated consumers as well as organizations that campaign for safe cosmetics.”
