This is my first experience working with the indie cosmetic company, BOii Cosmetics (Made for girls, inspired by boys). Today I get to show you part of the newest collection, “Girls Around the World”. The collection showcases colors from around the world, and I have Indian Girl and Japanese Girl! The collection will be available for purchase this weekend. I might add, these two colors are perfect for fall. I can’t wait to see what the other ‘places’ look like! Let’s get started.
How they arrived, too cute!
Indie creator, Kumari Brathwaite, creates beautiful cosmetics as well. “Boii cosmetics was started in 2012 by two sisters living in New Jersey. We initially became interested in creating nail polishes as a hobby, but was inspired by our awesome mom to evolve our hobby into a business and a career. Since then we have transitioned from nail polishes to now offering eye shadows and lipsticks.” Products include: Nail polish, nail art, face, jewelry, candles, bath and body.

Conclusion: I found the polishes dried fairly quickly, even as well-pigmented they were. The formulas were easy to apply, no flooding or thickness issues. No strong odors and the colors are really beautiful. Indian Girl is unique for a gold, it’s warm and shimmery, and very little streaking for a metallic. Japanese Girl is a beautiful deep red/burgundy with tons of shimmer. I do have some shades like it, but no dupes that I know of! I highly recommend these!
