Zoya Island Fun – Pt. 2 of 2 Summer 2015 Collections

Today I will share with you the second part of Zoya’s Summer 2015 Collections, Island Fun. The only thing that would have made this swatch day better would have been to be on an actual island! I will say right now, I LOVED every formula, very consistent and buttery smooth application. Let get on with the show!

Island Fun is gorgeous set of summery cremes. From Top then clockwise: Nana, Serenity, Talia, Demetria and Cecilia. Formulas couldn't get any better!

First up is Nana. Not sure how “islandy” that name is, but the color sure is a summertime winner.

Nana is described as, "a deep summer fuchsia in a full coverage and densely pigmented cream formula." What a fabulous summertime shade! 2 coats, slightly on the thin side but smooth.

Jace was the biggest surprise in the lot. I saw the shade and thought, hmmm, not sure if this will work with my skin tone. But yeah. It totally works for me!

Jace is described as, "a modern tropical green in a full coverage formula. A green that is more muted than lime and surprisingly wearable!" I have no other green like this. It's very, hmm, botanical! Love this one! Two coats.

Demetria…you know you HAVE to have a hotter than pepper shade for summertime!

Demetria is described as, "a vibrant poppy red in a full coverage and densely pigmented cream formula." this reminds me of red chili peppers! Beautiful formula, two coats.

I immediately fell in love with Talia. I see this as an “anytime of year shade.”

Talia is described as, "a true turquoise in a full coverage, densely pigmented cream formula." I love all these but this one captured my heart! So different from other turquoises in my collection. I'd recommend a base coat as she might stain.

Serenity is one of those luscious purples that beg to be worn.

Serenity is described as, "a summer purple in a full coverage and densely pigmented cream formula. Reminiscent of beautiful blooming irises, a harbinger of summer." Slightly thicker formula, just as easy to apply and glossy!

And finally, Cecilia. You’ll be singing, “…I’m begging you please to come home…” when you lay eyes on her! (song reference) 😉

Cecilia is described as, "a classic teal in a full coverage and densely pigmented cream formula." She's a beauty! "...you're breakin' my heart, you're shakin my confidense daily..." Sorry! When I hear this name I start singing the Cecilia song by Simon & Garfunkel!
