I love playing with water decals from Born Pretty Store. The online store sent me a few items for review and this design intrigued me. I have always loved mandelbrot designs and this one is super colorful. Trippy! Let me state that it did challenge me. I would have liked to see this sheet larger since it’s a continuous design but it’s so gorgeous, I think it’s most useful as an accent nail art. Let’s take a look.

Conclusion: I like water decals. But these were trickier to work with than those with single objects you cut out. They are currently only $1.92 US. Since this type of continuous design makes you cut the portion you want to use on your nails, and the sheet as you can see isn’t enough for a full mani, I’d recommend using it for an accent nail to get your money’s worth. That way you can cut this sheet in a few choice pieces. Also, since these are not your typical single step and repeated type, like a rose or a starfish, etc., on the sheet, it is a bit more difficult to place and trim. They tend to want to wrinkle if you don’t work fast. I used a thin coat of topcoat, then place, trim and topcoat again. Also, my topcoat wanted to turn the decal into jelly at the ends but I trimmed that off.
