What a wonderful collection to kick start your spring polish collections! Here is Bianca’s Whiskers:

Bianca's Whiskers is a lush strong linear pink/violet polish with a purrrfect formula! Pert near opaque in one coat but 2 coats brings out the holo even more. I took this pic in the sunshine so you could enjoy the full effect. It's fabulous!

Lovely Bunny certainly is lovely!

Lovely Bunny was the sheerest of these 3 requiring 3 coats for me with my long nails to not see the free edge when in full light. But the effect is a mesmerizing green/blue duochrome shimmer.

And a real showstopper, Kitty Slippers!

Kitty Slippers in 2 coats. Not as sheer as Lovely Bunny but just as intoxicatingly beautiful. I should note all these formulas are amazing and easy to work with, great brushes and elegantly packaged. So springy!

I asked Heather to share the inspiration of how Charlie Loves Bella came to be. It’s inspired by a true story and written by Spell Polish owner/creator herself, Heather. She told me, “It’ based on a true story about my cat, Charlie and his love for rabbits.” Heather says that This collection is based on a true story about a cat that falls in love with a rabbit. All polishes come with a corresponding trade card- all 10 cards together tell the whole story of Charlie and Bella.

Here is the story of Charlie Loves Bella:

~Charlie Loves Bella~

Bella was a bunny and Charlie was a cat,
but Charlie didn’t know love doesn’t work like that.

So Charlie donned his slippers and sneaked away at night

looking for his Bella by the goldenrod moonlight.

He thought he’d bring her flowers- a hyacinth or two-

and serenade his Bella with a melody he knew.

When out of her small warren, he saw her whiskers peeking,

he knew he’d finally found the love that he was always seeking.

This was the radiant rabbit he spotted a few days before,
and followed through the woods, right to her bunny door.
Her fur was smooth and silken; her nose a velvet pink.
Her eyes were bright as stars, more lovely with each blink.
But Bella’s mother chided from inside that darkened hole,
and warned her lovely bunny not to stray and not to stroll.
“Cats can be quite dangerous with very dreadful habits,”
she reminded her sweet Bella that kitties aren’t for rabbits.

Who was this singing kitty who courted under the moon,
who made her heartbeat skip, and made her nearly swoon?

So early the next morning, Bella dressed for the affair
and followed Charlie’s footprints back to his secret lair.
She hid behind an oak tree in hopes of a better view,
then spied her star-crossed lover sitting under boughs of yew.
Delightful was his posture and flaxen were his locks.
Charlie was a kitty but he also was a fox!
She hip-hopped to her homestead, with extra bounce in her step.
She had to tell her sister about the kitty she had met.
But Bianca twitched her whiskers and crumpled up her nose,
“Bunnies cannot fall in love with kitties—everyone knows!”

But later that same evening, with daisies in his hat,
Charlie showed Bianca he was not an average cat.
He scampered through the forest, and shimmied up a tree,
courting the whole family by dropping daisies on all three.
Bella’s mom was startled and Bianca was confused
but Bella’s heart was tickled and her spirit was amused.
She loved a cat named Charlie and she didn’t care who knew.
So she blew him bunny kisses and she knew her love was true.
He jumped down from that pine tree and gave his Bella a wink,
then offered her his paw, their arms a furry link.
They took a springtime ramble off into the setting sun,
the story of Charlie and Bella was a tale that had just begun…
