Manis and lacquers

Single’s Awareness Day Collection by Virago Varnish, a sweet trio!

I was so excited to be able to review these beautiful polishes from Virago Varnish. From the time I saw the first teasers I was in awe. Glitters are kryptonite to me anyway, but when they are this smooth in tinted jelly bases, oh my! All three of these are seriously stunning, very smooth and easy to apply, and remove! You’ll reach full opacity in 2-3 coats. I found full opacity in two! Here they are!

Here is how my sweet little trio arrived!

The first polish I tried, We Can Still Be Friends, was amazing. I kept say, “Wow!” lol Sitting here all by my lonesome (hubby at work) and I’m sure my cat thought I’d lost it!

We Can Still Be Friends is described as, "Red base polish with various holographic micro-glitters. Opacity: Fully opaque in approximately 2-3 coats." I used two!

The next is a glorious holo-filled grapey purple glitter in a purple base. It’s Not You It’s Me, Lovely!

And the prettiest pink, I Need Some Space

I Need Some Space is described as, "Pink base nail polish with various pink, purple, and silver holographic micro-glitters. Opacity: Fully opaque in approximately 2-3 coats." I used two coats with Gelous for topcoat. On the accent nail I created an embree effect using all three shades!

This is my first experience with Virago and I have to tell you I am seriously impressed. Well done Adrienne! There are a ton of indies out there. Lots of competition and I’ve been so fortunate to end up with great companies. Congratulations to Virago for producing such great polishes!

I have a funny story to share with you. (well, it wasn’t at the time). When I was in high school, there were two years, back to back that I happened to have a boyfriend during the month of February. Both of those jerks broke up with me the very week of Valentine’s Day! Sob, woe was me. What kind of tightwad does that? LOL Anyway, true story. What is your Single’s Awareness story? I would love to hear!
