It’s not too early to start thinking about your manis for Valentines Day. Devotion and Desire are the perfect glitters for your Valentine manis!
I recommend using a good gel like or glossy top coat on these. It really sets them off and gives them a glitter floating effect. First we have a sweetheart pink called Devotion.
Devotion is a cool pink crelly base with pink, white and silver glitters. Desire will dry slightly textured but if you use about two thin coats over white, it really makes the pink pop. I manually placed the hearts for this post, although you may not need to. I prefer to place larger glitters this way, then finish with a good topcoat that smooths out glitters, like Gelous.Devotion is described as, “Devotion is a sweet pink shade that represents all of the loving feelings you share with your special Valentine every day of the year. Devotion starts with a lightly-tinted cool pink base and is filled with a shimmering gold spark and charming glitters. Desire is full of red glitters in a black base. Desire will dry slightly textured and semi matte on the nail. I found two thin coats gave me full coverage and I did place the heart glitters manually since I was swatching for photos on this post. I found removal was easy considering the heavy glitter load. FYI: When I remove glitter polishes that are contrary, this not being one of them, a small cut square of felt is a lifesaver. You won’t need it with this polish however. I used Gelous for a topcoat to smooth out the polish.Desire is described as, “Desire is a mysteriously seductive shade that evokes feelings of lust and longing.
