This holiday season China Glaze introduces a palette that allows you to reflect on the season and celebrate color, with glitters and shades to melt for. The spirit of the season is captured by sparkles in the night, soft glowing lights and visions of the new year. This cute kit includes: Tip Your Hat – 0.5 oz., Chillin’ With My Snow-mies – 0.5 oz., and Out Like A Light – 0.5 oz. with a FREE Mirror and Pouch.

A pretty, slightly non-typical trio of shades for the Christmas season. From left, Reflect on the Season gift set includes Out Like a Light, Chillin' With My Snow-mies and Tip Your Hat.

Tip Your Hat and Out Like a Light are both great formulas. Chillin With My Snow-mies in its clear base, is basically a matte glitter topper I found easier to manage by dobbing a bit onto a piece of aluminum foil and picking up the pieces of glitter with a stick and placing where I wanted.

Out Like a Light is a highly pigmented charcoal grey. I accented this mani using Tip Your Hat and glitter placement using Chillin' With My Snow-mies (which sits in a clear base).

Tip Your Hat is a nice, traditional Christmas red creme. Accented here with matte white glitters contained in Chillin' With My Snow-mies

NOTE of Thanks: I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday and I especially want to thank all my readers and followers for supporting me with love, thoughts and prayers as our family continues to endure the tough job of caring for my husband’s mom here in our home. The past month has been the hardest I’ve ever known, and the job of caring for an end-stage COPD hospice patient is more than I thought I could ever handle. But we’ve persevered with much prayer and the strength of the Lord. My blog and social community of friends has indeed helped me get through this. We don’t know how long we will have my mother-in-law with us and doing this through the holidays has it’s own special challenges. I’m so glad now that I have been able to work on some of my swatches, photos and posts ahead of time. And as I write our youngest son sits in my MIL’s room on the other side of our house, just being there so I can write and stay caught up. Blogging and finding moments to do my nails are so therapeutic. Funny how the little things are the highlight of your day in these situations. Moments of clarity from my MIL are far and few between but they are there hidden behind the oxygen deprivation and cloudy medicine interference. Yet, times when she has a memory, or showers us with hugs and kisses and blessings…are a blessing. Thanks everyone!
