CND Vinylux Weekly system

This is my first experience using the CND Vinylux Weekly Polish System and I’m truly smitten! I’ll be sharing six glorious shades along with my report on the Weekly Top Coat and CND’s Solar Oil. Warning, lots of images!

The first shade is the vampy, and I do mean VAMPY creme called Bloodline. It is a blood red creme with a perfect formula. All six of these can be one coaters but I did two for this post. Bloodline is so aptly named and so intoxicating you may even be inclined to take s quick sniff of the bottle. Don’t worry, it really is polish! It’s a highly pigmented blood red creme. I used two coats and this did slightly stain my nails. But a couple extra swipes of an acetone based remover got the rest off my nails.

Next is a gorgeous gilded mossy green. One stroke of Gilded Pleasure and I was in love. Gilded Pleasure is a stunning duo-chrome with a gilded olive base that flashes antique gold and pale green. Because it’s a metallic formula, it can tend to show some brush strokes but not that bad. Just use a light hand and it will look great! Two thin coats is all you need of this green golden beauty.

Grape Gum, a perfect name and although it’s not scented, you can imagine the fragrance of this perfectly named purple lacquer. Grape gum is a luscious shimmery purple. The finish on this pretty purple after drying was sort of a satiny finish. Of course when you add a layer of the Weekly Top Coat, you’ll get that shine you’re looking for.

Here is an even darker red shimmer, Dark Lava. All I an say is, WOW! Dark Lava is one of those elegant moody and metallic reds, without the streaks! I love deep wine shades with so much character. One coat may do but I used two.

Dark Lava's formula is amazing. Love it when a shimmer delivers!

Pretty Poison is the epitome of how a sexy deep green is supposed to look. How is it possible for a deep metallic green to glow? I don’t know, but this one does. Pretty Poison appears is a sultry, blackened forest green that shimmers with tiny bronze, gold and green flecks. This dark beauty is amazing! Super easy to apply and I used two coats. No staining.

Pretty Poison is so beautiful, it can't be all that bad. It's amazing actually!

And last of the colors is Decadence. Now when I think of that word, why is it I think of dark chocolate dripping over berries? Well, the only thing missing here is the chocolate! Decadence is a classy red on the cool end of the spectrum. The jelly-like formula is easy to apply in 2-3 thin coats for full opacity but oh so shiny! It’s very luxe and rich looking.

Indulge in the finer things. Decadence fits right in!
